Do you feel overwhelmed with finding the right tools for your content creation that suit your unique style and goals? The right tools can be powerful for your business by enhancing creativity and efficiency while keeping things aligned with your values. Here’s why it’s important and some of my favourite tools that I use in my business.

Now, I understand that not everyone has the ability or desire to be more organised and efficient. I really do. That’s why I created my Content Creator Archetype Quiz– so that you can become more aware of your strengths and use them to the best of your ability when it comes to content creation.

But at the same time, if you’re super serious about your business and want to grow it, at some point you wither need to invest time and money into systems or people to help you become more efficient and focused at least with the content creation side of things. I know you’d much rather be spending time on converting and serving clients than creating content, so the more simple and easy that you can make it, the better.

So whether you’re creating social media posts, emails, blogs, videos or podcasts, there’s a tool that will help you simplify what you’re doing and decrease the amount of time you spend on it.

So when you’re choosing a tool for your business, there’s a few things that I think you need to consider:

  • Whether it boosts productivity and efficiency
  • Reduces overwhelm
  • Supports your content objectives
  • Saves time on repetitive tasks leading to creativity and consistency
  • Encourages collaboration

Simplifying with spreadsheets

Believe it or not, one of the simplest yet effective tools you can start with is spreadsheets. They’re perfect for organising content calendars and analysing your strategies.

Maximising efficiency with Kajabi

If you’re ready to invest in a tool that streamlines multiple aspects of your content strategy, I can’t go past Kajabi. It simplifies not just emails and landing pages but also entire course creations and membership content, allowing me to launch efficiently without the mental exhaustion of handling multiple systems. The key here is to look for solutions that reduce costs and mental load while increasing productivity.

Embracing creativity with Canva

Whether you’re using the free or paid version, Canva allows you to create stunning graphics that align with your brand without needing extensive design expertise. It’s a tool that caters to simplicity, letting you focus on the art of creation rather than the struggles of design.

Scheduling with the right platform

When it comes to content scheduling, using native platforms like Meta for Instagram and Facebook and within LinkedIn itself may sometimes provide an edge over third-party tools.. The goal is to maintain simplicity while ensuring your scheduling aligns with your brand’s voice.

Leveraging Descript for multi-use content

My life has changed since using Descript! It’s a stand-out as a versatile tool for audio and video production. I use it extensively for podcast editing and content reimagination (such as writing a draft for this blog!), creating show notes and social media snippets. These features can kickstart creativity and streamline processes, giving your creativity and visibility a boost.

Using AI’s support with ChatGPT and Gemini

AI platforms like ChatGPT and Gemini can aid in content ideation and strategy building, offering a spark of inspiration on days when my brain is fried.

So they’re the 7 tools that I use in my business to streamline my content creation and free up more time for bigger picture thinking and projects. It’s how I’m managing so many brand awareness projects this quarter – such as the bundles, summits, trainings and sponsorship – and how I make sure I maintain consistency and visibility.
